Harry is a happy and engaging boy who grows in confidence every day. He loves his life in foster care and loves to be at home with his humans, never too far away and always available for a pat and a cuddle. His foster carers are very impressed with this handsome black beauty with his cute white paw and tummy.

Harry has become familiar with his routine at home. He has learnt to climb stairs but still needing some reassurance to go down. He is very motivated to master stairs as his humans sleep upstairs and he prefers to sleep on his own bed just outside their room. Not much phases him in the house. He may prick up his ears and have a little sigh when hearing a loud or sudden noise like thunder but will then go back to his favourite pastime, napping.

Harry is happy with his two 30 minutes walks in the morning and late afternoon. He will play for a little while a couple of times a day, otherwise he takes it easy having some quiet time on his bed or in a deep sleep roaching (sleeping upside down)

Harry has been content when left home alone for a few hours. Understandably, he will be very excited when you get home and give a little dance.
Harry also loves his adventures in the car. He will expertly jump in and out and enjoy the ride. He is happy to accompany you on visits to a friend’s house or the cafe.

Harry loves his toys and is very fond of his Kong wobbler with treats hidden inside. He will need a stash of sturdy squeaky toys as he does like to test their robustness. Harry also likes to entertain his humans with his antics and they can’t help but laugh when he has a big stretch and releases a little fat. Such an elegant gentleman.

Harry is good on lead and does love to explore the neighbourhood. He loves to sniff and poke around corners to see what interesting things there are to find. He will insist on at least asking each neighbour he sees if they would like a pat. It is hard to resist his friendly grin and bright happy eyes.

Harry prefers to meet new dogs one at a time. He’d rather not be crowded. He is generally good with all dogs but hasn’t appreciated those little ones that jump into your face. We don’t blame him.

Harry is a very trusting and loving boy. He would fit in well in most homes. He could easily be and only dog or enjoy the company of another suitable hound.
